About
Attachment Recovery was created to help people understand and change patterns of connection.
Many struggle not because they lack insight, but because they lack a structured, relational process that supports real change.
This work is built on awareness, connection, and consistent practice over time.
It is simple, but not easy.
And it works when it is lived.
About the Author
Jonathan McCormack is an attachment-focused practitioner who specializes in working with anxious, avoidant, and disorganized attachment patterns. His work integrates several established methods, all aimed at the same goal: helping people remain with experience as connection unfolds.
He has been rigorously trained in the Three Pillar Model for Attachment Repair, developed by Dan Brown and David Elliott. He completed Daniel Brown's Attachment Disturbances Clinical Training, the Level I & II Ideal Parent Figure Protocol Masterclass under Dr. Zach Bein, and currently works under David Elliott's group supervision in Three Pillar Integrative Attachment Therapy. He is also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy), and Deep Mind Reframing.
The Attachment Recovery process is the result of years of this clinical work and lived experience — a synthesis of mindfulness, attachment theory, and the slow, relational practice of changing how we connect.
He is the author of The Attachment Recovery Workbook: The Twelve Steps of Healing Patterns & Deepening Connection, and offers one-on-one sessions through attachmenthealinghelp.com.
Our Values
This is a community for people who want to do the slow, real work of changing how they connect — with themselves and with others.
